Who we are
The Blue Knights Germany XVI - Rhein-Ruhr are a registered association and part of the international Blue Knights® network, one of the largest motorcycle clubs in the world. Our members are active or retired members of the police, federal police, judiciary, customs, military police and other law enforcement agencies. Our passion for motorcycling unites us, and we wear our club colors with pride - because: “We ride with pride”. With currently 44 full members, including five women, as well as honorary members and family members, we form a strong community characterized by camaraderie and commitment.
What makes us special
As a "Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club" (LEMC), we stand for responsible motorcycling in accordance with traffic regulations. Our aim is to promote the reputation of motorcyclists in the public eye and to break down prejudices. In doing so, we support social institutions, promote motorcycle touring and advocate road safety. Our activities range from joint rides and safety training to charitable campaigns - always characterized by respect, discipline and a sense of community.
Our history
Founded on March 30, 2001, our chapter was born out of the desire to unite motorcycle enthusiasts in the Rhine-Ruhr region. Under the guidance of experienced members from Cologne, a community was formed that has grown continuously ever since. Over the past 25 years, we have undertaken numerous tours, made friends and actively campaigned for our goals. We are celebrating our anniversary not only by looking back on an eventful past, but also by looking forward to a future full of shared experiences and commitment.
